Approximately 2 hours from Flamingo Beach, Tamarindo Beach, and the Papagayo area, Hacienda Guachipelin awaits us for a day of adventure at the Rincón de la Vieja Volcano (active).
During the canopy tour, you will fly among the trees, swing like Tarzan, cross hanging bridges over the narrow river canyon, and rappel back down to the ground.
Following the canopy experience, you will continue to enjoy the non-stop fun, splashing along 5 km (approximately 3 miles) of class 2 and 3 rapids in this beautiful crystal-clear river. The rapids will get your adrenaline pumping, but there are plenty of pools with calm waters along the way so that you can relax and appreciate the landscape’s natural beauty.
Then, it’s time to taste Costa Rican food with a delicious buffet lunch, natural drinks, dessert, and coffee.
Enjoy a horseback ride and hike beautiful trails through the forest to arrive at the natural spa with volcanic mud and nine natural thermal water pools from the largest volcano in Guanacaste, Rincón de la Vieja.
