Description:
Nothing is mandatory in Costa Rica but the visit to the tropical rainforest is close to mandatory due to its beauty. This tour shows a lot of what Ticos are proud of, such as the 5 active volcanoes on our route. Whether permitted, we will see 3 types of forest, 2 different provinces of Costa Rica and its impressive 85-km2 [approx. 532 miles] lake which is used to produce electricity and irrigation in Guanacaste. We will also see cowboy villages with their bullrings for the practice of rodeos.
In La Fortuna we will have lockers, bathrooms, changing rooms and a photographer to take your pictures. You will receive safety instructions for the extreme canopy activity which includes 13 cables and the Tarzan swing (optional) and beautiful places to admire like the Arenal Volcano (active). You will have a delicious typical Costa Rican lunch overlooking the Arenal Volcano. Once you are ready to continue your adventure grab your camera and enjoy an easy walk to watch wildlife that includes many different types of birds, sloths, butterflies, iguanas, monkeys and other animals. You will be delightful by beautiful flowers, medicinal plants and a lagoon while you interact with our native people; the Maleku, while a local naturalist guide talks about what you are experiencing.
At end the day, you will enjoy the spa with 11 hot spring pools, wet bar (hot-spring water), water slide, and hydro-massage, all this while you view the Arenal Volcano.
